We will not be having a show this year...or maybe for many years...
Thank you for your support throughout the years. We couldn't have done it without you.
When I first started this in 2014 it was a fun hobby and consumed all my free time. I was able to work on it in high school and classify it as a school project. The media began to pick us up and promote the show and the visitors began showing up by the masses. In college, my free time dwindled, but I was still able to produce something I was proud of and had fun doing. In 2018, I incorporated Lights On Jupiter into a 501c3 nonprofit organization that would support our nursing home patients during the holidays. Over the years we've raised thousands of dollars for Make-A-Wish and Lights On Jupiter, and donated hundreds of gifts to the elders.
So what has changed? I simply don't have the same time or funds as I would have a few years ago. If I were to do a show today, it would not be something that I would be proud of, have the same love for, or even be able to produce in time for Christmas. I'm not sure what the future holds for Lights On Jupiter, but I do hope to create something amazing again that I can have the same love for, whether that be next year, or 10 years from now.
Once again, thank you to everyone who has supported me, and the show over the years. I've always done this out of pure love for Christmas and to bring joy to others, and hope to be able to do that again in the future some day.
